Picking Up Pieces

For this series, I collected old family photos taken in the Philippines from 1998-2005. I placed them side by side to be compared and contrasted to items we still have today. Since the photos are about 15-20 years apart, I investigated some of the few items that we still have left after all these years. When we moved to Canada, we donated and left behind so many objects with us. Then we moved houses, donated, and threw away more overtime. Even though I was very little when I moved, I still remember some of the moments and events that have been captured.
